Dragon's Milk

Not your everyday milk!
Tasked to create a milk brand I came up with Dragon’s Milk. The goal was to create a brand that stood out among hundreds of other milk brands. This was achieved with color and illustrations. Before I started the brand though I needed to look at other milk competitors were doing.
Branding Elements
When coming up with the branding elements I knew to stand out in the milk aisle of a convenience store I could not use traditional white and blue colors for milk so I flipped the script. I know if dragon’s milk was on a shelf among other milk product’s it would stand out like no other brand for it unique packaging and branding elements

The only way I could really do this project was with black paper and white ink. Luckily I was working for a company that had access to both! Finally I created the design’s and used spot colors for the gold and we took it to print!

I knew once I saw the finished product I had to make the photography just as special and I had been interested in product photography for a while so this was my first chance at it. I bought a few props, played around in photoshop and I was really happy with the results! I also had a lot of fun with my friends in the process.
